A writer is touched by the story of a former Black Panther who seams to have been wrongfully convicted to life imprisonment 20 years ago. The writer decides to try to help the now middle-aged convict get exonerated. Becoming convinced that an ex-Black Panther serving life for murder is innocent, a writer flirts with the boundaries of ethics to get him freed.
