After a night of drinking, Rachel (Laura Ramsey), a diplomat working in Mexico City finds her world turned upside down after she's saved by Alejandro (Jaime Camil), a Mariachi singer whose visa was rejected the day before - by Rachel. After passing out at a party, a diplomatic consul is saved by a mariachi singer whose visa request she denied. But the rejection has slipped her mind.
