Ayaka suffers a traumatic spinal cord injury due to a fall on her 23rd birthday. Remembering the red mangoes from her hometown in Kagoshima Prefecture's Osumi Peninsula, she picks out a bright red wheelchair and begins her rehabilitation. Suddenly paralyzed, 23-year-old Ayaka finds new purpose in her life with the help of her friends and her ailing grandmother.
