Two brothers in poverty-stricken Cantal rob banks to give to the poor with the help of the local folk. The police are baffled till the case is given to Commissaire Viennot. Inspired by a true story Fed up with the injustices they see around them, two brothers begin robbing banks and giving the money to the poor and soon become populist heroes.
